A minor in Russian may be useful and enriching for students in many disciplines, from Economics and Political Science through Comparative Literature and Theater to Engineering and Mathematics. The 18- to 20-hour program listed below provides considerable flexibility within a general structure. Required Courses

• Second-year Russian (6-8 hours): RUSS 201 and RUSS 202, or equivalent

• Third-year Russian (3 hours): RUSS 301, 302, or equivalent

• Introduction to Slavic culture (3 hours): UKR 113, SLAV 117, SLAV 120, or similar

• Russian literature (6 hours): two courses at the 200-, 300-, or 400-level
